We are two men in Recovery who want to spread the message and have a laugh doing it. Each episode will feature a different speaker from different walks of life whose message is always the same: one of Experience, Strength & Hope.
Dean R
Dean, a native of Dublin, started his recovery journey over 4 years ago. He credits his clean time to the help of his family and friends. With a positive outlook on life Dean’s goals are to help others receive the help he did in early recovery and to advocate for addiction awareness and support. Dean is passionate about sharing his story and experiences to inspire and encourage others who may be struggling with addiction. He believes that everyone deserves a chance at recovery and is dedicated to providing resources and support to those in need. Dean is committed to spreading hope and promoting a message of resilience and strength in the face of adversity.
Mano
Mano, born and bred in Sligo, had a tumultuous upbringing. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, Mano is determined to maintain his recovery. His family and friends have supported him every step of the way. His goal is to spread the benefits of recovery to those still suffering and to break the stigma surrounding addiction. Mano believes that everyone deserves a chance at redemption and a life free from the chains of substance abuse. Through his own journey, he has discovered the power of resilience and the importance of support systems. Mano is passionate about sharing his story and experiences to inspire others to seek help and find their own path to recovery. Mano is dedicated to spreading hope, compassion, and understanding, and believes that with the right support, anyone can overcome the challenges of addiction and lead a fulfilling life.
